Students will be challenged to understand different cultures, analyze their own governmental structure and laws, and apply current event news coverage to historical references.

Academy History is the study of the world, its maps, its cultures, its governmental structures, and its stories from major events, personal accounts, and current news coverage.

Academy Students will memorize the past to better prepare for the future.

The Academy will take History to a whole new level!

Weekly: Every Monday there will be an alternating geographical location or government concept presented. On Friday there will be a quiz to test the retention on each.

Bi-Weekly (Monday & Wednesday): Twice a week History will be taught in Block segments. Students will be instructed in different blends of history throughout the year with coordinating community projects, group activities, weekly quizzes, and monthly unit tests.
