Music Exploration

Elite Athletes Academy understands Music as the art and science of both composing and performing music through voice, instrument and body.

Students will be challenged to learn how to read music, the different types of instruments and their history and cultural reference, how to compose, song write and perform.

Academy Music is the study of world’s sounds, rhythms, movements, and song.

Academy Students will immerse themselves in the art and science of understanding music, its different forms, methods and purposes to enhance their own confidence in finding their voice, whether in vocals, instruments, or dance.

The Academy will take Music to a whole new level!

Academy Music

Elite Athletes Academy values Music and its ability to engage student athletes in a form of language and creativity that will enhance confidence and abilities in realms not often addressed in regular training.

Music will be taught with a blend of different focuses based on grade, level, and interest.

Assessment: Prior to starting at Elite Athletes Academy, students will be given an interest survey to share what they would like to learn about in music, whether in playing an instrument, voice lessons/choir, songwriting, and or choreography.

Weekly: Every Monday there will be Musical Composition class that will include the History of Music, How to Read Musical Notes and the Different Mediums of Music.

Multi-Weekly (Monday, Wednesday & Friday): Music will be offered throughout the week in the forms of Academy Band/Vocal practice, Musical Composition, and Choreography. Students will be given a standard class setting once a week in Musical Composition.

Music Electives: On alternating days, the Academy Band will hold practice with openings for vocals & instruments and a Choreography Class will instruct in dance and rhythm.
